Collier met zilveren kraaltjes en amulet.

This necklace comes from Ethiopia and consists of

hand-formed silver beads alternating with clove symbols

and a round amulet. The clove symbols represent fertility

and the amulet should contribute to health and happiness.

The original glass beads have been replaced with

wine-red garnet and the whole is strung on nylon

thread and provided with a twist lock.

It is worn close to the neck and is 45 cm long.
